MAN Vs NATURE

Too much dependence on science, development of technology isn't an issue that's posing threat to environment....Infact this is important for our betterment...but what is worth pondering is our attitude towards our environment. We are so much engrossed in our quest to improve on science and technology that we are not able to see how we are jeopardizing the environment.

We often say that we need to protect the environment but the fact is that environment is always going to stay, what's going to perish is us if we don't align with the plan of nature. Yes, nature has plans for everyone, we are required to abide by that, to survive. But as we consider ourselves the most superior form of life, we start neglecting the plans...in the overconfidence that somehow we'll find out a way to live even if that's against the plan of nature...

Technology should develop, but not at the cost of nature. Science should grow but with it awareness and concern for our environment should also grow. Interaction between human and nature should not be destructive but for the benefit of both man and nature. Let's not forget that we are just a part of the nature...any wrong with the nature will have an adverse effect on us.....

RELIGION Vs CONSCIENCE

Religion forms an integral part of all our lives. From childhood only, our minds are conditioned to believe in it. We believe in God because we think that he is all powerful, almighty and is the savior of all our lives. Believing in God helps us believe that there is someone who can protect us from all the evil forces, can judge our actions and guide us through right path. We view God more as a ‘Superhero’, who can do anything and this feeling alone gives us a sense of security to live in this world. But when somebody comes and challenges our belief on our religion, we cannot accept that even when we find his words more logical. Religion is what defies all logic.
In the movie, “The man from Earth”, when the protagonist  John Oldman, who claims to be 14000 years old, challenges the religious belief of his friends, the beliefs that they have cherished since their birth and that forms a part of their lives and lifestyles, all of them turn against him. Their reactions were quite obvious, just imagine how you would feel if one day you are told that the religious belief you were raised with, were all false. But isn’t he right when he says that we change our belief as according to situations? If not then why in a country like India where cows were treated as God, once upon a time, are barbequed today?
Religion is a belief system which tells us how we should live in the world at a particular time. History itself reveals that religions have been modified/ changed as according to people’s interest in the retrospect. So if we have formed religions to live happily in life then why do people fight over it? Why is there a Babri Masjid and why there is hatred between Jews and Christians?
We should live by our religious belief but as the way it is meant to be, and not to fight over it. Religion is for uniformity and not disparity. Please learn the true lesson of any religion, which is humanity.
